Marriage on Gozo

Getting married on Gozo is becoming popular with Catholic couples overseas.  Apart from our own chapel, the large churches here are magnificent, providing gorgeous settings for the ceremony.  There are plenty of venues, too, where receptions might be held in style – and at a fraction of the cost of the equivalent “back home”. The usual rules apply.  At least you need a valid baptismal and confirmation certificate as well a certificate testifying that you received pre-marital instruction within your local diocese.  This documentation is also required of the Christian non-Catholic partner in case of ecumenical marriages.
